  1. Jul 15th 2014 EmperorLinux Ant FZ-M1 Linux Tablet Announced

EmperorLinux is proud to announce the Ant FZ-M1 (Panasonic Toughpad FZ-M1) ultra-rugged tablet/slate system. The Ant FZ-M1 is a smaller sibling to the FZ-G1, and comes standard with: 1.6 GHz Core i5 Duo processor, 7" WXGA outdoor-viewable touchscreen running X@1280x800, 8 GB RAM, and a 128/256 GB SSD. Full Linux support is provided for optional integrated options including GOBI, GPS, fingerprint readers, and camera. An optional internal RJ-45 gigabit Ethernet LAN port is also available.

Like our larger rugged Linux laptops, the Ant FZ-M1 also meets MIL-STD-810G; it can withstand 2.0 meter drops, vibration, thermal stresses, and dust and water intrusion.

  2. Feb 18th 2014 EmperorLinux Rhino Upgraded to M4800 and M6800

The Rhino gets an upgrade! The Dell Precision M4800 and M6800 series bring up to 3.1 GHz Core i7 Quad Core Extreme processors to the Rhino. The Rhino M6800 offers our largest 17.3" 1920x1080 FHD display with touchscreen, up to 32 GB RAM, the highest-performance NVidia 3-D graphics available on a laptop (Quadro K5100M, 4 GB, 1536-core CUDA), and Blu-ray. The Rhino M4800 brings similar performance to the 15.6" size with 32 GB RAM, and NVidia K2100M graphics, but adds the first 4K / UHD we've had in a 15" system.
